Swedish industrial rock band Ember Twin is back with their new EP, Nothing.

Their new release is their most varied yet, blending heavy industrial beats with catchy synthpunk and in the middle of it all, a song influenced by 50's love ballads.

Starting off with the atmospheric The Room Expanding, the music explodes into the synthpunk influenced I Can't Turn You On. The track is followed by an industrial duet with the Swedish singer/songwriter Erin Lynn, the duet is another first for Ember Twin. After going through several genres the EP ends with the beautiful piano outro Why Do You Fall Apart.

The EP was inspired by our modern society, the stress it brings, as well as all the violence we see around us on a daily basis.
During the recording the band went out and recorded samples from the outside world. People talking, children playing and screaming.
The idea was to try to catch life as it was happening on the outside and to try to give the songs a more human element.
